Sometimes things just click. You put a couple chips on the table and suddenly you're up ten grand. A woman drops her cell phone in a bar, you pick it up and hand it back to her and before you can blink twice, you're up to your chins in a bubbling Jacuzzi. Life is like that and so is The Valley Arena. Warren Woodward, Chris Stevens, Mike Neilson and Dave South clicked into place at their very first rehearsal in Long Beach, CA in 2003 like so many anthropomorphic Legos and have been making music that fits just as snugly into their particular time and place in this world ever since.

Our ultimate party: We're headed out to visit a friend in Brooklyn. We take a few shots of Grand Marnier, and in our jacket pocket is this CD from a Kansas City band that was repeating on our iPod the whole flight over Click here to read more.
The Architects don't stop. Because nobody can stop them -- not indifferent music-industry lackeys and not a teenage American market enamored of black bangs and screamo. The Architects will still play a limited Warped Tour run, open for Rancid, headline at tiny KC venues and hold four-hour rehearsals several times a week so that every show they put on is an exercise in jackhammering the shit out of rock and roll's front porch and trampling its rose bed. We've got some photos posted over on the Architects band page. More pics from other bands, mp3's, and videos coming soon. Click here to see the pictures.
