Recorded in a scant four days, Revenge is a baker's-dozen kicks square in the ass by the baddest cowboy boots you've ever seen (we're talking snakes eating scorpions and a cactus with shards of glass sticking out of it and shit embroidered on them). While it's true that Architects are four-fifths of the final lineup of former Hellcat band the Gadjits, don't expect to find any ska upstrokes here - only rock 'n' soul barnburners like "Widows Walk" and "Don't Call It A Ghetto."
The first album from the Architects, "keys to the building" contains songs that under different circumstances would have been the crowning jewels in the Gadjits creative mantle but have since taken on new life as the opening salvos of the Architects populist coup d'etat.
